External Therapy Consult
This short form consultation is for those who want certain external therapies
Service Description
Required before the following therapies: pinda sweda, external vasti like janu/hrid/nabhi/kati etc. Specialized therapies like churna pinda sweda (powder bolus), patra pinda sweda (leaf bolus), jambeera pinda sweda (citrus bolus), shashtika sali pinda sweda (rice and milk bolus), janu (knee) basti, hrid basti and all the other external oil well (basti) therapies require specialized herbal powders and oils respectively. This can only be determined by asking questions to the client to understand the symptomatology. Secondly, whether or not a therapy is suitable depends on the client's unique pathophysiology. All therapies are not recommended to all people at any stage of their symptomatology. This consult is to ensure that only the safest treatments are offered to you after careful consideration of your symptoms and some Ayurvedic diagnostics like pulse and tongue analysis. This appointment is 30 minutes long.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy — The Ayurvedic Life Your appointment reserves dedicated one-on-one time with our practitioner. When a session is cancelled at short notice, that time cannot be offered to another client. This policy keeps appointments available and fairly priced for everyone. Booking: - Appointments must be booked by 6:00 PM the evening before your visit. - Same-day appointments are available by phone or text only: (408) 583-8011. Online same-day booking is not available. - A valid card is required to hold every appointment. Your card is not charged at booking — it is only charged under the terms below. Cancellations and rescheduling: - 24 hours or more notice: cancel or reschedule once free of charge. - Less than 24 hours' notice: the full session fee is charged to the card on file (*no exceptions*). - No-shows (no notice given): the full session fee is charged, and all future appointments must be prepaid in full at the time of booking. - Late arrivals - Arriving 15-30 minutes late: your session is shortened so the next client is not affected. The full session fee applies. - Arriving more than 30 minutes late is treated as a no-show. - Repeat late cancellations - After two late cancellations or one no-show, all future appointments must be prepaid in full when booking. - Prepaid appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are forfeited — no refund and no credit. Fees and refunds: - Session fees charged under this policy are non-refundable. - Prepaid appointments cancelled with 24+ hours' notice may be rescheduled once at no charge. - Consultations and treatment fees are non-refundable once a session has taken place. - Gift cards purchased through our Square gift card store are non refundable and non-transferable for cash, in accordance with Square’s gift card terms, and do not expire unless required otherwise by law.
